Company Drivers Program:

 Concord operates late model, well equipped, carefully maintained attractive tractors.   Concord’s trailers are well maintained 53’ X 102” dry vans equipped with air ride suspension.  The average trailer in our fleet is 3 years old.  Our freight is clean, light and no touch.   

Company drivers are paid a salary.  Our company drivers receive the same pay on the 15^th and the last day of each month regardless of whether we are busy or slow.  Each company unit is a single driver operation. 

The company offers a health insurance program including a prescription plan, life insurance and short term disability insurance.  The company also provides paid holidays and paid vacations.   

The company’s scope of operations is primarily the central US.  However, some special services take us to Arizona, California, Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, Nevada and Texas. We offer the convenience of frequent home times and the opportunity to operate long haul.   

Driver Prerequisites:

• Minimum driver age 24.

• Minimum of 3 years verifiable over the road all weather tractor-trailer experience.

• Have a valid CDL.

• No loss of CDL due to disqualifying offenses during the past 36 months.

• No license suspension for moving violations or accidents within the past 36  months.

• No conviction for DUI, Leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving, or a felony involving a commercial motor vehicle within the past 5 years.

• No positive test result for illegal drugs or positive test for alcohol of .04 for any test conducted per the requirements of the Federal Drug and Alcohol Regulations  ( Note:   any refusal to be tested will be assumed as a positive test.)

• Capable of meeting other minimum DOT qualification requirements.

 Concord has a great opportunity for owner operators!

 Concord pays a percent of the load revenue.  We start our owner operators at 72% of the gross revenue.  After twelve months the settlement rate increases to 73.5% of the gross revenue and after 24 months the settlement rate increases to 75%.  Fuel surcharges are passed through to our owner operators in full. 

We provide Comdata cards for over the road fuel purchases and cash advances.  Fuel purchases and cash advances are deducted from weekly settlements.  We do not maintain escrow accounts but settlements are made two weeks in arrears.  We can settle by company checks or through direct deposit to the owner operator’s bank account.    

Concord is a small privately owned contract carrier with a mix of company owned vehicles and owner operators.    The average owner operator in our fleet has been with our company 6 years.  Many have purchased new tractors while at Concord.   

Our general freight is mainly light bulky packaging materials moving between points within the central US.  This freight requires little or no driver involvement in loading and unloading.  Additionally, we specialize in transportation of trade show exhibits throughout the US.  Although this can be a somewhat complicated transportation activity it offers premium rates.  Our goal is to maximize revenue and minimize miles and minimize vehicle wear and tear. 

We have a modern fleet of 53’ air ride van trailers with translucent roofs and logistics equipment.    The average age of a trailer in our fleet is 3 years.
